Integrated Wellness is the study of achieving true healing by
bringing into balance the mind, the body, and the spirit. If
one of these variables is affected, then dis-ease may occur.
Students learn healthy lifestyle options, conscious living
techniques, and holistic modalities that strengthen the body,
sustain the mind, and nourish the soul.
This is healing the way our Creator intended.
Healers University offers degrees of B.S., M.S., and
PhD in Integrated Wellness for those wishing to learn the philosophy
and practices of holistic health.
Students may enroll in our full packages below to take advantage
of tuition savings, or may enroll at our sister facility,
Reiki Rays Institute
an AADP and INHA accredited facility, and
apply those courses to any of our degrees or diplomas offered at
MUHH.
Bachelor of Science
BIW 101 Herbology 4 credits
The study of herbs and their benefit for physical, emotional, and
spiritual well-being according to historical use and folklore
traditions.
BIW 102 Meditation 3 credits
The practice of purposeful silencing of the mind for relaxation,
health improvement, and spiritual development. Learn how to
use techniques that assist in every aspect of living.
BIW 103 Usui Reiki 4 credits
Translated from Japanese meaning "Universal Energy", Reiki is the
study of utilizing and channeling energy for holistic healing and
spiritual transformation. Often referred to as the "laying on of
hands" Reiki can be performed in person or distantly to remove
blockages that may result in dis-ease.
BIW 104 Gemology 4 credits
Harness the magnificent power of the Earth by learning how to use
the natural energies of crystals and gemstones.
BIW 105 Chakra Balancing 4 credits
The chakras are the seven human energy centers that run the
length of the spinal column and are responsible for physical,
emotional, and spiritual energy balance. Learn how to enhance
well-being by achieving energetic balance using hands on and
distance techniques.
BIW 106 Principles of Ayurveda 4 credits
This is an ancient Indian philosophy of health maintenance
based on the principles of three main body types (doshas). Thorough
study of discovering the individual's body type, as well as
historically recommended diet and lifestyle procedures are examined.
BIW 107 Flower Essences 4 credits
An essence is the vital life force of a plant, flower, or herb
that has been extracted and preserved into an elixir. This course
focuses on modern flower essences (non Bach) as a means to transcend
issues and conditions not currently being addressed in traditional
flower remedy preparations. Emphasis is on plant
identification and essence preparation.
BIW 108 Hypnosis and Mind Power 4 credits
The study of how the mind can be utilized to stimulate desired
change, with emphasis on the power of the mind to help accelerate
the healing process.
Master of Science
Students must complete all requirements
of the BS level or the equivalent before enrolling in the MS
program.
MIW 201 Aromatherapy- the Power of Scent 3
credits
The study of how scent can affect mood and health has been in
practice for thousands of years. Learn how to work with
essential oils to create custom blends for just about any desired
goal.
MIW 202 Divine Spiritual Healing 4 credits
This course covers the benefits of accessing a Higher Power
outside of yourself to facilitate change, achieve inner peace, and
help pave the path to spiritual healing.
MIW 203 Detoxification and Wellness 4 credits
Discover how environmental, chemical, dietary, and emotional
toxins can accumulate and affect the body--and natural methods of
removing them system by system using herbs, supplements, breathwork,
and more.
MIW 204 Regression Therapy 4 credits
Hypnosis can be used for a number of holistic approaches, one of
which is the discovery of past lives. Unveiling past lives may
reveal karmic patterns and unexplainable sources of illness,
fears, and conditions.
MIW 205 Herbs for Women 3 credits
Women have relied on nature to preserve and maintain their
special health needs since the beginning of time. This course
focuses on offering traditional remedies for feminine health
concerns such as menopause, pregnancy, and fertility.
MIW 206 Sound Therapy 3 credits
The study of how the energy of tones and music can affect the
healing process.
MIW 207 Fundamentals of Spiritual Coaching 4 credits
Develop life skills to assist yourself and your clients overcome
any obstacle, achieve any goal, and make positive life changes that
resonate with your spirituality.
MIW 208 Reflexology 4 credits
Reflexology is the study of pressure points that exist on the
feet that correspond to every bodily organ and system. It is
believed that stimulation of specific points can reduce stress,
speed healing, and improve mood.
Doctor of Philosophy
Students must complete all requirements
of the MS level or the equivalent before enrolling in the PhD
program.
DIW 301 Indian Head Massage 4 credits
This is the ancient Ayurvedic practice of stimulating key points
on the head for enhanced health and well-being.
DIW 302 Aura Balancing 4 credits
The human energy is the body's buffer against unwanted illness,
vibrations, and emotions. Learning to clear and heal the aura
may implement the healing process and assist in transcending
obstacles.
DIW 303 Dissertation/Doctoral Research Project*
